September 9, 1951 – August 9, 2016

Our father, Michael Joseph Leonard, Sr. born on September 9, 1951 and fondly known as “Mickey Mouse” was a native of Port Arthur, Texas and a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1970, and was the last of the original founders of what is now the Golden Eagle Van Club.  He is survived by his children Meisha Leonard, Michael Leonard, Jr., Marvin Leonard and our mother Edna Jean Mitchell Jones.

A Christian wake will be held at Gabriel’s Funeral Home on Friday, August 19th at 6pm to 9pm. On Saturday, August 20th, the viewing and rosary will begin at Sacred Heart at 8am and service at 10am.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
