Magdalene Collins Bobino

Mag transitioned from this life on the afternoon of August 12 after a nearly yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer as well as a lifetime of migraine headaches. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and friends during the last days and moments of her life.  She was the most loving mother and a wonderful wife.

Mag was blessed to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert and Mary Collins. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School Class of 1970. She attended Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. She initially worked as a respiratory therapist and finished her career as an employee at State Farm Insurance.

Mag is survived  by her loving husband of 44 years, Houston Ancily Bobino, Jr. and their two children: Dr. Desiree Bobino Thomas and Houston Ancily Bobino III and his girlfriend Rachel Brooks; four grandchildren: Ciarra, Donovan and Darien Thomas, and Kayla Bobino all of Houston, TX. Mag is also survived by her only sister Carolyn Collins of Port Arthur, TX and her favorite niece Masia Collins of Houston, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her Uncle Joseph (Joe) Isaac, and her beloved canine companion, Toby.

Services will be held on Saturday 8/20/16 at 1 pm at Sugarland Mortuary 1818 Eldridge Sugarland, TX 77479.
