Port Neches-Groves classmates Carter Henry and Ryan Leckich were named honorable mention 5A All-State baseball players by the Texas Sports Writers Association.

The honorable mention lists were released Monday. The association announced its first- through third-team players last week via The Associated Press.

Henry was drafted in the 40th round by the Boston Red Sox in June as a pitcher, but he also spent time at third base and shortstop. Henry is honoring his commitment to the University of Houston.

West Orange-Stark placed two on the honorable mention 4A All-State list: senior Payton Robertson and junior Jack Dallas. Robertson has signed with Lamar.
