San Antonio – Donald C. DeLee, 66, died Thursday at the Nix Hospital, after a long battle with cardiovascular disease. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas 03-28-1950. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur in 1968. He attended Lamar College. Donald lived in California for many years and moved to San Antonio in 2013.

His parents, Beatrix and Jesse Austin DeLee of Port Arthur, Texas, precede Donald in death. He is survived by his brother, Jesse C. DeLee of San Antonio and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church, 8500 Cross Mountain Trail, San Antonio, on August 13, 2016 at 10:00 AM, officiated by Father Conor McGrath. The family suggests donations to the San Antonio SPCA in lieu of flowers.
