West boys handle team from East

WINNIE — The team from the West was too much for the East at the Christus All-Star Classic at East Chambers High School.
The West, guided by team-MVP John Comeaux of Ozen, won 94-76.
Central graduate and incoming Lamar freshman Ty’rin “T.J.” Atwood won MVP honors for the East.
Port Neches-Groves graduate Ryan Abel finished 4 for 4 from the free throw line for four points to go with two rebounds.
The East led 18-14 after one and then trailed 49-29 at the break. The West took a 77-54 lead into the fourth.
