BC’s regional semifinal series announced

Bridge City will play another best-of-three series in the 4A Region III baseball playoffs beginning Thursday.
Waco Robinson is the next opponent for the Cardinals, who needed to win two to eliminate rival West Orange-Stark in the regional quarterfinal round. Game times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, with Game 2 at 5 p.m. Saturday at a location to be determined. Game 3, if necessary, will be played 30 minutes after Game 2.
