Contractor killed in accident at ExxonMobil identified

BEAUMONT — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified a contractor killed in an industrial accident at ExxonMobil on Wednesday as Migauel Barron, 37, of Brownsville.
Barron, a contract worker with AltairStrickland, was working on a heat exchanger on an elevated platform at the downtown Beaumont facility when a pipe fell onto him, killing him around 1 a.m. May 11.
