Don “Mike” Denzlinger, 67, of Brookeland, died Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born on January 26, 1949, in Port Arthur, to Rosetta “Rosie” Foxwoth Denzlinger and D.J. Dickey Denzlinger.
Survivors include his wife, Theresa Denzlinger of Brookeland; daughters, Melissa Denzlinger of Port Neches and Dawn Scarberry and her husband, Scott, of Groves; Theresa’s daughter, Heather Ashworth and her husband, Marc, of Nederland; Theresa’s son, Eric Cammack and his wife, Bree, of Bridge City; grandchildren, Ian Scarberry and Jocylene Scarberry; Theresa’s grandchildren, Ashten Morgan, Hailey Morgan, Keagan Stinnett, Blake Ashworth, Ashley Ashworth, Kensley Cammack, and Kash Cammack; brothers, Andy Denzlinger of Groves, George Denzlinger of Nederland, and Joey Denzlinger; sister, Rachel Fowler of Kingwood; step-mother, Ida Denzlinger; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Rosary for Mr. Denzlinger will be recited at 5:30 p.m., with a gathering of his family and friends to follow until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Broussard’s, with his entombment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
