PN-G’S Hailey Loupe lands on All-Region

PORT NECHES — Port Neches-Groves junior midfielder Hailey Loupe was named to the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches All-Region first team.

Loupe was recently named the Midfielder of the Year for District 22-5A and has committed to play soccer at Lamar.

Lumberton’s Madison Soileau was named to the all-region second team.

It was also reported Tuesday that next year District 22-5A will do away with ties after regulation in both boys and girls’ soccer. Teams will play two, 10-minute overtime periods and then have a shootout to decide the winner. Teams that win in regulation will receive three points, two points will be awarded for a win in overtime or shootout and no points for  loss.
