Rose M. Hebert, 94, of Groves, TX passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Lake Arthur Place Nursing Home. Rose was born April 16, 1922 in Sweetwater, La., to the late Jenus Mier and Zulamae Sonnier Mier. Rose enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and quilting. She was a homemaker and was dedicated to her family. Rose was a long time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She had a green thumb for gardening and loved to watch game shows and the Golden Girls.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Doris Joseph Hebert; a sister, Mary Benoit and brothers, Leroy Mier and Robert Mier. She is survived by her children, Jerrell Hebert and wife Deborah, Debbie Allred and husband Rickey; Susan Roden and husband Daryl; sisters, Ruth Pilcher and Dorothy Toups. Rose also leaves behind grandchildren, Krystal Haydel and husband Cody, Jerrad Roden and wife Shannah, Jordan Sneed and husband Robert; great grandchildren, Addison Roden, Carson Roden and Zoey Haydel to cherish her memories.

A Christian Vigil and Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 21, 2016, 6:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends and relatives from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
