Thomas Lyons III was born December 12, 1932 to the late Thomas Lyons, Jr. and Ethel Jenell Lyons.  A lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX he worked for the City of Port Arthur and CA Turner Construction Company.   Thomas and Geneva Lyons were united in marriage.  He was a devoted husband. 

He departed this life Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva; one daughter Rhoda Faye Lyons; two sons, Michael and Wilbert Jones; a host of grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time.  Arrangements under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
