Ms. Hershelle Rene Prevost of Port Arthur died Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Medical Center of SE Texas. A native of Port Arthur, Texas,  she was a resident of Beaumont for 15 years. Hershelle was a Lincoln High School Class of 1989 Graduate and continued her education where she became a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont, TX.

A visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. with the funeral immediately following at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, 4615 S. 4th St. Beaumont, TX 77705. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

She is preceeded in death by her father, Lionel Prevost, sisters; Denise and Letica Prevost, Rosie Jackson, Yvette Williams and Shirley Bohanon.

Survivors includes her fiance; Gus Thomas, mother; Bessie Prevost, daughters; Nieysha Porter (Jamal), Chelsea (Elijah) and Kiarra Prevost, grandsons; Juels and Joel Porter, sisters; Janice Campbell, Keshia and Jackie Prevost, and Joann Lafleur brothers; Teaurean and Jared Prevost, Godmother; Fay Hines, and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
