LSCPA sophomore Albright commits to Lamar

Lamar State College Port Arthur sophomore Christian Albright has verbally committed to continue his college basketball career at Lamar University.
Albright, a Dallas native, averaged 7.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this past season with the Seahawks.
He joins fellow LSCPA sophomore Colton Weisbrod as Seahawks who will appear on the Cardinals’ roster next season.
The Seahawks won the Region XIV South Zone with a 13-6 record. LSCPA was 22-10 overall.
Albright shot 71.1 percent from the field and averaged 1.1 blocks per game.
The Seahawks were eliminated from the Region XIV Tournament in the second round.
Lamar is coming off an 11-19 season. The Cardinals missed the Southland Conference Tournament with a 3-15 league mark.
