Anthony Jude Flores, age 35, passed away Sunday March 27, 2016.  He was born in Austin, Texas on January 27, 1981 to Jesse and Celeste Flores Jr.  A 1999 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School, he went on to graduate from Lamar with a B.S. in Political Science and was working on his masters in social work.  He married the love of his life Jessica Phillips, of Hamshire Fannett, in 2001.

Anthony had the biggest heart, was full of jokes, and often ended up being the life of any friend or family function.  His big heart and love of people was evident while serving as director at Goodwill. He also worked for DARS, providing services and overseeing special programs for those in need.  He was very quick witted and never met a stranger.  This not only came in handy with his line of work, but he charmed everyone from his family, friends, coworkers, bosses, and even strangers.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Jesse Flores III; grandparents, Juan and Dora Juarez, Sr.; aunt and godmother, Yolanda Bell-isle; and Uncle, Joe Flores.
