Ethel Lee Leleux

Ethel Lee Leleux, 80, of Montgomery, formerly of Groves, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016.

Ethel was born on June 17, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Deslatte. She was a resident of Groves for 50 years and the last 10 years of Montgomery. Ethel was a member of St. Peter of Apostle Catholic Church in Groves. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Reed Phillip Leleux and twelve siblings.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Leleux of Groves, Danny Leleux of Cape Coral, FL, Cory Leleux of Spring, Brady Leleux of The Woodlands; daughters, Sheila Gremillion of Montgomery, Donna Heberling of Conroe, Darla Mendoza of Montgomery, Staci Owens of Spring; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

A 1:00 PM Christian Burial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends 11:00 AM until service time. Rev. JC Coon will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Honoring Ethel as pallbearers will be Chuck Godwin, Chris Greak, Kirby Gremillion, Logan Owens, Garrette Mendoza and Reese Leleux.
