The UIL has issued another curveball for teams in District 22-5A starting next year.
Baytown Lee will not participate in the district for all sports other than football. The Ganders will move into District 21-5A for those sports along with Conroe Caney Creek, Crosby, Dayton, Humble, Humble Kingwood Park, Barbers Hill, New Caney, New Caney Porter and Splendora.
District 22-5A, other than for football, will consist of Central, Livingston, Lumberton, Nederland, Ozen, Port Arthur Memorial, Port Neches-Groves and Vidor.
Livingston was put into the district after the realignment was announced in early February when it was announced the school turned in false numbers to the UIL and was originally placed in Class 4A.
