In the second game of the day, the Seahawks led 3-0 through two innings before Angelina scored two in the third. LSCPA answered with three more runs in the bottom of the third for a 6-2 lead, which is where it stood until the top of the sixth. Angelina added two runs to close to within 6-4.

In the seventh, a walk, a fielding error and a single loaded the bases for Angelina’s Boucher, who slapped a grand slam home run to center field for the 8-6 lead.

The Seahawks face their final day of tournament play in Longview today with games against Kilgore College at 11 a.m. and Northeast Texas Community College at 3 p.m.
