Carol Ann Guillory Smith, 72 of Groves passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  Carol was born to the late Stewart Joseph Guillory and Hazel Bellanger Guillory on June 4, 1943 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Carol was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother to her family.  She gave to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally and always without complaint.  She loved life with a mischievous sense of humor. Carol never swayed from her principles and faith in God.  She will be greatly missed by many. 

Carol is preceded in death by her parents.

Carol is survived by her husband of over 52 years, James “Rusty” Smith; sons, Bruce Smith and his wife Jeanine; Michael Smith and his wife Monica; daughter, Kelly Smith-Villarreal and her husband Rafael; Grandchildren, Carolann Smith, Krystle Villarreal Muller, Jack Smith and Savana Butler; Great Grandchildren, Jonathan Figueroa, Alexia Figueroa, Ariel Muller, Kenneth “Junior” Muller and Rafael Muller.

A gathering of family and friend will be held Sunday, February, 21, 2016 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday February 21, 2016 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, Port Arthur.
