Don Delahoussaye, 78, of Nederland died Saturday, February 6, 2016. He was born on May 17, 1937, in Port Neches, to Albertine Cormier Delahoussaye and Paul Delahoussaye.
Don retired from Texaco Chemical in Port Neches as a supervisor after thirty-eight years of service. He enjoyed playing golf, tennis, cards and watching sports.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Peggy Delahoussaye of Nederland; sons, Jay Delahoussaye of Port Bolivar and Ted Delahoussaye of Nederland; grandson, Trent Delahoussaye of Nederland; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and grandson, Nathan Reed Delahoussaye.
A gathering of Mr. Delahoussaye’s family and friends will be 1:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. A private family committal will be held at a later date at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
