Frankie Mae Alexander, 92, died Tuesday, January 19, 2016 peacefully in the comfort of her home. She was born June 15, 1923 in Patterson, Louisiana and a resident of Port Arthur for 66 years.
She retired from housekeeping and was a faithful member of Seventh Street Baptist Church until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her loving children: two sons; Wilson Alexander, Jr, Gary C. Alexander, a special niece Helma Smith (Lawrence) reared as a daughter from Houston, a special grand-daughter Charise Walker of Port Arthur reared as a daughter, sister Ethel Smith of Los Angeles, California, ten grand-children, twelve great grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 10:00 -11:00am at Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services at the church will be officiated by Pastor John Doyle III. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Moody – Harris Funeral Home.
