Milton Crawford Hall, Sr., 86, of Port Neches, TX passed away January 12, 2016 at his home. He was born June 21, 1929 in Port Arthur, TX to William and Raiford Hardy Hall. He was one of sixteen children.
Milton retired from Gulf Oil / Chevron after 37 years of service. He was a lifelong area resident and a faithful member of Central Baptist Church of Port Arthur. He was a member of the Cosmopolitan Lodge 872, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He was a Shriner and also a Mason for 63 years.
His wife of 65 years was the love of his life and their commitment to one another was a true testament of their marriage. An avid football fan, Milton enjoyed being a part of a large family and spending time with friends. Upon retirement you would find Milton on the golf course most every weekday.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Pevoto Hall of Port Neches; son, Milton (Chuck) Hall, Jr., and his wife Sharon, of Columbus, TX, and their sons Jason Hall and his wife Amy, of Houston, TX, and Jared Hall, his daughter Jaelynn, of Columbus, TX; daughters Kathryn (Kitty) Hall and Beverly Hall of Dallas, TX. Milton is also survived by one sister, Bettye Nell Hall Becker of Winnie, TX, one brother Everett Earl (Cowboy) Hall and wife, Dolly of Groves, TX, sisters-in-law, Olive Hall of Port Neches, TX, Frankie Hall of Groves, TX, Veronica Pevoto Dillingham and husband, Phil of Asheville, NC, brother-in-law Kenneth Garner of Odessa, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Julian (Shu) Hall and wife, Marie, James (Yeager) Hall and wife, Lillie Mae, Robert (Bob) Hall and his wife, Aline, Charles Hall and wife, Earline, William (Bill) Hall and wife, Frances, Louis (Tony) Hall and his wife, Melba, Harry Hall, Donald Hall, Jerry Hall,  and sisters Helen Hall Lumbley and husband, John, Francis Hall Middleton and husband, Ike, Margaret Hall Taylor Vucinovich and husband, Bob, Barbara Hall Garner, and brother-in-law Howard Becker.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX with Dr. Phil Sigman officiating. A burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Jim Beasely, Everett Hall, Kelly Hall, Walter Simmons, Dr. John Storey and Phil Vergara.
