Port Arthur Memorial senior Kameron Martin has earned a spot on inaugural Subway Super Team, announced by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.

Martin, a standout running back orally committed to Baylor, was one of two Jefferson County players named to the squad. He and West Brook’s Keith Corbin were named Super Team offensive utility players. Beaumont Central running back Devwah Whaley, a U.S. Army All-American, had more than 1,000 fan votes during the balloting process, but did not make the team.

More than 300 players appeared on the official ballot for the Subway Super Team. Online voting ran through Dec. 31, and more than 300,000 votes were cast by high school football fans around the world.
