Hector Cantu Villarreal, 52, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at his home.
He was born on November 21, 1963 in San Juan, Texas.  Hector was a resident of Port Arthur for most of his life. He was a mechanic in the automotive and trucking industry for many years, he worked at various locations in the area.   Hector was affiliated with Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Cantu of Conneticut, his biological mother, Rostina Villarreal of Mission, Texas, his mother, Graciela Cavazos of Port Arthur, his half sister, Jeanette Lopez of Utah, his cousins, Felipe Cavazos and Danny Cavazos both of Port Arthur.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM Friday, January 15, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Urbano Saenz – Ramirez serving as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
