Lee Edward Webb, 64, passed away at his home in Webster, Texas in December. He was born December 7, 1951 in Port Arthur to Roy and Carolyn Webb. Lee grew up in Groves and graduated from Port Neches – Groves High School.
He went on to serve a Union sponsored apprenticeship and became a Journeyman Brick and Stone Mason. Lee worked on many buildings in our area. Later he attended Lamar University where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Lee was employed in the Federal Government Space Program for many years and worked with other engineering firms, retiring in 2010.
Lee was a devoted Christian and looked forward to taking his place in Heaven.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn Webb of Groves; Brother Steve in Houston; Brother Joel in Beaumont and Sister Lynn and husband Nick of Nederland; Niece Misty;  Nephew Garrett; Nephew Charlie and other family members.
Lee is preceded in death by his father Roy Webb.
Graveside service will be held at a later date.
