BEAUMONT — The honors continue to roll in for Lamar junior running back Kade Harrington.

Having already been named to the STATS FCS, AP and College Sports Madness All-American squads, Harrington added the American Football Coaches Association FCS All-America team to his resume Monday morning. Harrington received first-team honors from the AFCA.

The AFCA has selected an All-American team every year since 1945. The AFCA All-American team is chosen by FCS coaches. What started as just one team in 1945, has now grown into All-American squads exclusive to each level of the game from NAIA all the way through NCAA FCS and FBS.

Harrington was one of four Southland players named to the 2015 squad, and just one of two SLC players on the offensive side of the ball. The four Southland players are the second-highest total of any FCS conference.
