PORT NECHES – A Port Neches woman was lift-flighted to Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth for treatment after jumping from a moving vehicle during an altercation with a man on Saturday.

According to information from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the man and woman had gotten into an argument and as the man was leaving in a vehicle the female jumped inside the back seat. As the vehicle turned onto the corner of FM 365 and Twin City Highway the woman reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and was injured.

The incident happened around 7 p.m.
