Frankie Dale DeYoung, 77, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, December 3, 2015. She was born on July 31, 1938, in Etoile, to Virgie Wooten and Hugh Allen Mitchell.
Frankie enjoyed traveling, writing, playing video games, and shopping. She loved being with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Debra Teran and her husband, Clinton Bobby and Eileen DeYoung; sons, Danny Holman, John DeYoung, and Tyrone Hyder all of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Michelle Bradford, James “Bubba” Bradford, Jr., Keith Morris, John Patsfield, Jr., Jeremy East, Amber East, Rick East, Danny “D.J.” Holman, Jr., and Megan Holman; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Earl DeYoung.
A gathering of Mrs. DeYoung’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
