BEAUMONT — Those planning to see Presidential candidate Donald Trump at Ford Park on Saturday should be prepared for a long line and traffic diversions.
Persons coming in from the Port Arthur and Mid-County areas are asked to take Fannett Road to the blinking light at Major Drive. From there take a right and enter the parking lot on Major Drive or the feeder road, Linda Waggoner, director of marketing and sales for Ford Park, said.
“We expect it to be very crowded and encourage people to leave early, Waggoner said.
There will be heightened security and no strollers or umbrellas are allowed. Long lens cameras are not allowed but persons can bring point and shoot cameras.
Concessions will be open.
The parking lot will open at 8 a.m. and doors open at 9:30 a.m. Trump is scheduled to speak at noon.
