Mr. Harris Joseph Broussard, 75, of West Point, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Hospice LaGrange.
Mr. Broussard was born March 22, 1940 in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, son of the late Rodolph and Isabelle Thibodeaux Broussard. He had been a welder for most all of his life.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Robin Broussard  of LaGrange, former daughter-in-law, Marianne McGill of Lanett, Al., sisters, Janet Mullins of Groves, TX., and Mildred McLean of Port Arthur, TX., grandchildren, Michael Brennan Broussard of Atlanta, Lyndsey Marie Broussard and her fiancé William Seay Christian of Columbus, Ga., and a great granddaughter, Claire Marie Christian. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Broussard, a son, Joseph (Joey) Broussard, and a brother, Bertman Broussard.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Hunter – Allen – Myhand Chapel with Rev. Bobby Bozeman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m.
