Marvin passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. He was born November 21, 1931 to Sybil Joseph Rodrigue and Orelia Delahoussaye Rodrigue in Port Arthur, TX.
He lived in Port Arthur for all of his life. Marvin was a supervisor at Gulf Oil for 36 years. Marvin proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Duos-Rodrigue of Port Arthur, TX; sons, John Dale Rodrigue of Montgomery, TX, Dr. Marvin Dale Rodrigue, Jr of Friendswood, TX; daughters, Carol Broussard of Port Arthur, TX, Patricia Rodrigue of Port Neches, TX, Pamela LaCombe of Orange, TX; sisters, Patricia Rodrigue Tomlin of Groves, TX, Mary Louise Hebert of Groves, TX; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, TX. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church with Rev. Rejimon George officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
