Harry Breaux

Harry Breaux, 91, of Port Arthur passed away, Monday, November 9, 2015 in Port Arthur, Texas.  Harry was born October 14, 1924 in Kaplan, Louisiana to the late Leonard Breaux and Leona Landry Breaux.  Harry is best described by his family as a gentle, kind and generous man that had a great sense of humor.  Harry was an avid fisherman and loved bowling, golf and going to the Casino.  Harry served his country as a soldier in the United States Army during WWII, with two Purple Hearts and four Bronze Stars.  The most important part of his life was his family.  He was a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather.  Harry will be missed by many.
Harry is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Laura M. Bertrand, Laurence M. Boullion, Verna B. Patin. Brothers: Dallas Breaux, Laurent Mire.
Harry is survived by his wife, Eula Marie Broussard Breaux; daughters, Myrna Cedars and her husband Michael of Orange; Verna Gayle and her husband Leo of Groves; Glenda Smith of Nederland; sisters, Una M. Persons of Montrose, Michigan; grandchildren, Melissa Taylor and husband Michael; Ryan Cedars; Julie Kinser and husband Jimmy; Christy Gayle and Amy Brashers and husband Kevin; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Groves with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
