Nederland’s march through the Class 5A Region III playoffs continues at 6:30 p.m. tonight against Santa Fe.
The two teams are scheduled to meet in the area round at Lee College in Baytown.
Nederland comes into the match at 26-12 and defeated New Caney Porter in three sets Tuesday. Santa Fe (28-14) defeated Angleton in bi-district in three sets.
Thursday’s winner is set to face the winner of George Ranch and Kingwood Park in the regional quarterfinals. George Ranch defeated Fort Bend Bush in three while Kingwood Park eliminated Port Neches-Groves in a sweep.
Santa Fe defeated PN-G, 25-12 and 25-10, on Sept. 5.
