Rock-A-Noos, Lady Bulldogs set playoff matches

The District 22-5A playoffs are now set for Nederland and Port Neches-Groves.
Nederland (26-13) finished second in the district standings with a 12-2 mark and now face Porter out of District 21-5A at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Anahuac High School.
The Rock-A-Noos (24-15) clinched third place Friday with a four-game win over Lumberton and now take on Kingwood Park Tuesday at Goose Creek Memorial High School. The time for the match has not been set.
On Friday, the Rock-A-Noos defeated the Lady Raiders 25-18, 25-21, 23-25 and 25-17 behind another strong match from senior Emily Taubert. Taubert had 22 service points and 37 digs. Sophomore Libbie LeJeune had 14 points and 16 kills, Rachel Hammersmith finished with 38 assists while Hannah Hernandez added 30, Carley Roccaforte had 15 kills and 12 digs and Kaitlyn Gil added 11 kills.
