A would-be burglar who forced his way inside Goodtimes Bar was detained by bar owners until police arrived early Monday morning.

Port Arthur Police were called to the scene of the robbery at 3801 Texas 73 around 4:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26. Once there officers took the 21-year-old man into custody and charged him with burglary, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.
