As we play catch up with our bowling column, Week 4 provided a couple of bowlers with perfect 300 games.

Both 300s came out of the Energy Country league. Casey Smith got things going by tossing 12 shots that found the pocket. David Bruno found his mark in his second game. Congrats to both bowlers.

Week 5 had Erik Postula hammering the lanes with games of 248-278-279 for a sweet 805 set. Gloria Devillo led the Senior women this week with an even 600 series. Both Gloria and Erik did this in the Energy Country League.

Valero league will make the paper this week as Kat Douglas led the women this week with games of 171-235-247 for a 651 set. Our Senior men were led by C.J. Moity with a 727 series.

The Stars of Tomorrow got the season kicked off with Brandon Bertrand shooting games of 215-150-213 for a 575 series.

As this column was giving thanks to the folks for the fundraisers for my son-in-law Zane Wooley, one special group was omitted. A special shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the Wednesday morning Queen Tumblers.
