BAYTOWN — Nederland’s Lady Bulldogs improved to 5-1 in District 22-5A play Tuesday night with a three-game sweep of Baytown Lee.
Nederland (21-9) won the match 25-18, 25-17 and 25-13.
Abbey Montalvo had a huge night with 13 points, three aces, 22 assists and seven digs. Courtney Noel added 10 points, two aces and nine kills while Tatum Kieschnick had eight kills. Marlie Lee put in seven kills and Emma Forsythe finished with 16 assists.

BOB HOPE 3, SABINE PASS 2
SABINE PASS — In a District 24-2A shootout, the Lady Eagles survived a five-game tussle with the Lady Sharks on the road. Set scores were not available.
Bob Hope fell behind 2-1 in sets after winning the first, but took the last two for victory.
Michelle Bautista had 10 kills and seven aces and Vanessa Estupinan recorded 11 kills for Bob Hope. Jessenia Gutierrez also had an outstanding performance for the Lady Eagles.
Next for Bob Hope is a home date with LaMarque Premier on Friday. Sabine Pass will travel to Hull-Daisetta then.
