Mabel Mary Hollier, 92, of Groves, Texas passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at her home.
She was born on September 1, 1923 to Eunice and Fernand Joseph Broussard in Port Arthur, Texas. Mabel was a lifelong resident of the area and a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lassal Joseph Hollier.
Mabel is survived by her two daughters, Connee Scalco and her husband, Frank of Port Arthur, Renee Messina and her husband, Jake of Nederland, her five sons, Dr. Greg Hollier and his wife, Linda of Crystal Beach, Jody Hollier and his wife, Jean Ann of Groves, Fernand Hollier and his wife, Cindy of Ovilla, Texas, Rodney Hollier and his wife, Gail of Houston, Blaine Hollier and his wife, Barbara of Bridge City along with 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, numerous step grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM Thursday at Immaculate Conception. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton Thompson.
