Sadie M. Snowden, 69, of Port Arthur died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.  A native of Cheneyville, LA, she was a resident of Port Arthur for 40 years and was a devoted housewife. She was a faithful member of Barnes Memorial UMC until her death.  Sadie was a very outgoing and caring person to everyone that knew her.
Sadie was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Snowden; father, Lucky James Fisher; one brother Lonnie Fisher and one sister, Bernice Fisher.
Sadie leaves to cherish her mother, Bernice Fisher; two children, Willie (Diana) Snowden and Debra (Chris) Snowden of Port Arthur; three grandchildren, Shaterian Malone of Cheneyville, LA, Ari-yona and Samaya Hall of Port Arthur; four sisters, Pearlie, Mary, Linda and Debra (Bobby) Marks all of Cheneyville, LA; four brothers, Arthur, Henry, James (Veronica) and Jimmy (Darlene) Fisher all of Cheneyville, LA; a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins; two devoted friends, Corliss Jones and Delores Hammond; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Barnes Memorial UMC with a viewing from 12 noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
