Margery Lee “Marge” Tilley Latiolais Hagan

Margery Lee “Marge” Tilley Latiolais Hagan, age 98, of Groves, left Baptist Hospital in Beaumont to meet the Lord on August 12, 2015.
She was born March 4, 1917 in Fenton, Louisiana, the fourth of eight children born to Benjamin IV Tilley and Winnie Margery Daniel Tilley.  Her parents arrived in Louisiana in late 1916 from Cullman County, Alabama.  Marge spent her childhood in Oberlin, Louisiana and moved to Port Arthur around 1938.
In 1940, she married Joseph Emery Latiolais in Port Arthur and they were married until his death on July 13, 1977.  Three daughters were born to this union: Lynda (1941-1994), Frances, and Phyllis.  Marge was a homemaker.  In 1982, she married Bradford DeLoach Hagan and was married until his death on September 2, 1993.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, her daughter Lynda Latiolais Darby, her four sisters, and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughters Fran Latiolais Wilson Gallion (Paul, Jr.) of Lumberton and Phyllis Latiolais Romero Armstrong (Arnold) of Silsbee; son-in-law Ron Darby of Nederland; seven grandchildren: Tracy Dale Wilson (Rachel) of Beaumont, Sheryl Wilson Derouen (Ken) of Warren, Mark Wilson (Michelle) of Georgetown, Jeff Darby (Christy) of Nederland, Jill Darby Hill (Frank) of Groves, Amanda Romero Orta (Gabe) of Friendswood, and Christina Romero Qualls (Greg) of Friendswood; 13 great- grandchildren: Cara Derouen of Kountze, Mark Wilson II of Georgetown, Kim Wilson of Baytown, Kristen Hill Kayser (Coby) of Conroe, Justin Hill of Conroe, Stephen Derouen of Warren, Kevin Wilson of Beaumont, Eric Wilson of Georgetown, Lindsey Darby of Nederland, Bethany Derouen Taylor (Kyle) of Warren, Catherine Darby of Nederland, Melissa Darby of Nederland, and CiCi Orta of Friendswood; 6 great – great – grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Tilley of Sulphur, Louisiana; one sister-in-law Lillie Tilley of Mittie, Louisiana; and dozens of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Saturday, August 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Grammier- Oberle Funeral Home with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating.  The interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
