Dee Anna Hallmark, 56, Wahpeton, ND passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015 at CHI St. Francis Health, Breckenridge, MN. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, 11:00 am, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Wahpeton, ND. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted with Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, ND.
Dee was born September 9, 1958, in Port Arthur, TX, the daughter of Waymon D. and Sarah (Piggott) Hallmark. She grew up in Port Acres, TX, where she was active in school; participating in cheerleading and dance team. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and attended Lamar University where she obtained her Associate Degree Summa Cum Laude. She lived in Port Acres until she married Neil LaBure on June 9, 1995, they moved to Corpus Christi, TX, and in 2005 they moved to Wahpeton, ND, where Dee worked at Baymont Inn as a night auditor.
Dee is survived by her husband, Neil LaBure, Wahpeton; three children: Shelly (Cody) Edgerton; Melony LaBlanc, friend Randy Andris; and Timothy LaBlanc; four grandchildren: Kylie, Jake, Makenzie and Kate; her parents, Waymon and Sarah Hallmark; two brothers, Phil and Charlie Hallmark, a brother-in- law and three sisters-in- law: Shelly DeCluitt, Toni Howell, Travis LaBure and Kelly LaBure.
