Leola Crawford affectionately known as (Nanny) was born on May 3, 1926 to the union of David Green and Mattie McCray in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Leola is preceded in death by her husband, Squaire Crawford, her parents, David Green and Mattie McCray Wilson, three brothers, Robert Green, Leroy Wilson, and James Wilson, Jr.; four sister-in-laws, Malzree Centers, Hattie Bell, Laura Smith, and Annie Mae Pollard.
Leola Leaves to cherish her memory, one son Johnny L. Crawford, one sister, Lena M. Smith, two brothers Leon Wilson, Dr. Roosevelt Wilson (Barbara), two Goddaughters, Charlotte (Albert) Moses, Janile (Ezra) Parks.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 1, 2015 1p.m. at First Sixth Street Baptist Church 548 Abe Lincoln Ave. Port Arthur, with a viewing beginning at 11a.m. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
