Donald C. George was born to Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. George on April 18, 1970.  Donald departed this life on July 10, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Donald graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 1988.  He was a merchant seaman and, at the time of his passing, he was the lead driver for Advance Auto. He was a member of Eastern Star Baptist Church. Donald was an avid Cowboys fan and also loved anything dealing with cars.  He loved his family which included his dogs, Petey and Marco.
Donald was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and his niece Arianna George.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lori George; parents Charles and Frances George; children Donald George, Jr. (Ashley), Sabrina York (Zach), Shanelle George; siblings Charles L. George (Kathleen), Patricia George, Erika George-Mouton (Emmet), Cynthia Rahming, and Edward T. George; in-laws, Maxine Hysaw, Sam and Ruby Matthews; he will also be missed by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Eastern Star Baptist Church from 9 am until 11 am.  Services will begin at 11 am at the church with the Rev. Vester Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
