Erin P. Johnston, 86, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
Erin was born November 29, 1928 in Glenmora, Louisiana to John Clarence Peninger and Ada Cook Peninger. She has been a resident of Groves for 64 years and member of Groves First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Johnston of Groves; two sons, Barry L. Johnston of Groves and Dick Johnston of New Orleans, LA; two grandchildren, Zechariah Johnston and Dacota Johnston and wife, Mandy.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Marty Boddie officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
