Port Arthur fire fighters were called to a house fire early Thursday in the 1000 block of Grannis Avenue.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 1:30 a.m. and were able to get the fire under control in about a half hour, Beaumont’s Channel 12 News reported.
The home sustained smoke and water damage.
Origin of the fire is not know, and remains under investigation.
