Philip Todd Weatherly, 56, of Groves, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Port Arthur, the youngest of eight children, to Horace T. and Barbara J. Weatherly.
Phil was the proud owner of P&P Rentals and Supply in Groves and was a member of Encounter Church.
Phil’s life was rich and full, made even richer by his personal relationship with God. His greatest achievements were seeing his children become wonderful adults.
As he fought his battle with cancer, his faith held steadfast. He believed in God for healing, and his total healing was given on the morning of July 5th.
Phil’s legacy is boundless and he will be remembered as a true and loyal friend to many.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Art Calloway officiating and music provided by Grace Rutherford. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Horace T. and Barbara J. Weatherly, brothers, Hugh and Stephen Weatherly and sister, Donna Weatherly Duplantis.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Paula Weatherly of Groves, two children, Brandon Kinchen and wife, Kendell of Bridge City and Cathryn Green and husband, Corey of Orangefield, grandchildren, Corey Jr., Katelyn, Brody, and Adalyn Green, Tripp Paul and Charlee Kate Kinchen and Clara Romero, sisters, Cherlyn Benoit and husband, Joe, Maureen Whiteside, and Judy Gothia, brother, Roddy Weatherly and numerous nieces and nephews.
