Robert John “Bobby” Johnson

Robert John “Bobby” Boudoin, was born April 9, 1932 to Elite Decoux and Robert Boudoin in Lafayette, Louisiana. He died peacefully at home with his wife Jackie, of 60 years by his side on June 24, 2015.
He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1952. He entered the Army and served 2 years in the Korean Conflict. He started his career at Texaco and retired after 43 years. He was an active member at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, serving in many capacities. Being the father of 4 boys, he became involved with Boy Scout Troop 86, serving as Scout Master for many years, he had a profound influence on many young men. Hunting, fishing and any outdoor activity filled his life with joy. After retirement he enjoyed traveling with Jackie and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and son, Darrell.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Boudoin; daughter Lorrie Boudoin of Groves; sons, Gary and wife Lisa of Port Neches, Dale and wife Janice of Groves, Glen and wife Shelley of Groves; grandchildren, Jenny Manuel, Tara Deville, Trayce Boudoin, Jason Boudoin, April Carter, Brant Boudoin, Garrett Boudoin, Brock Boudoin, Bryce Boudoin, Braxton Boudoin, Jacqueline Boudoin, Jade Duncan, Cody Causey; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, June 26, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a Wake Service at 7:00 p.m. conducted by Monsignor Kenneth Greig at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
