Miranda Dawn Chase, 36, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015.
Miranda was born May 25, 1979 in Jasper, Texas to Richard Chase and Joy Sims Moore. She was a homemaker and area resident for 16 years and also a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ciara Joy Garcia and step-brother, Chad Sims.
Survivors include her fiancé, Greg Cryer of Port Arthur; mother, Joy Moore and husband Ricky of Bridge City; father, Richard Chase and wife Patricia “Crickett” of Center; daughter, Dasanee Cryer of Port Arthur; son, Dakota Garcia of Bridge City; brothers, Brian Chase of Bridge City, Marty Cooper of Groves; step-brother, Jason Sims and wife Melinda; grandmother, Etta Fae Simmons of Kirbyville; and many nieces, nephews,  cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Terry Lynn Prescott officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
