Kenneth Lentschke, 76, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Kenneth was born December 19, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Archie B. Lentschke and Pauline Ginn Lentschke. He was a resident of this area for 60 years and retired from the City of Groves as a street superintendent after 35 years of service. He was also an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Barbara Parker and Sue Lentschke Salas.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Justice Lentschke of Port Neches; daughter, Sherry Lytle of Austin; son, Kenny Wayne Lentschke of Port Arthur; sister, Betty Stark and husband Jim of Port Arthur; sister-in-law, Eva Jo Scott of Sour Lake; brother, Austin Louis Fontenot and wife Trudy of Phoenix, AZ; also survived by the mother of his children, Sweetie Guidry of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Misty Adams and husband Gilbert III, Leah Parker,  Kristy Lytle, Lindsey Juarez and husband Justin; great-grandchildren, Emily Diaz, Jaden White, Daniel Goans, Caleb Parker; and “Neighbor Kids”, Janie Stapleton and Kacie Borel.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park with Mr. Jeff Trahan of Memorial Church of Christ in Nederland officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
