NEDERLAND — On Tuesday this week we were blessed to have the Dulcimer players to entertain us on Tuesday and the program was great.  Also on Wednesday, today, we will have another presentation…the First Financial Bank will tell us about banking fraud.  This should be very interesting.  Thanks for all who come to bless us and make us aware of the dangers lurking.

We begin our days with a devotional and then play Bingo on Mondays and then games of your choice the rest of the week.  On Wednesday the traditional quilting ladies are busy in the quilt room and the rest of the week, the crafty ladies are busy working on projects. The men are always into a pool game and they really seem to enjoy their “room”.

The Nederland Senior Citizen Center is located at 914 Boston Avenue in Nederland. The center is opened from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and lunch is served at 11:30 A.M. and if you would like  nutritious lunch, please call Diane at 727-5230 so she can order a lunch for you since reservation are required.

There is always something to do here at the center, so don’t stay home by yourself, come join in the activities of other seniors and stay for a nutritious lunch.  The coffee is always hot and there are snack available.  Hope to see you soon.
