Groves Police Department responded to the following calls from July 28 to Aug. 3:
Wednesday, July 28
• A 25-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated the 5600 block of 39th Street.
• An aluminum boat was stolen from the 2000 block of Orange Acres.
• A 57 year old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 1999 Chevrolet truck was stolen from the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A 39-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication in the 5800 block of West Jefferson.
• Someone stole a Pioneer CD player, subwoofers, an amp and CD’s from a vehicle parked in the 3800 block of Canal.
• A disturbance was reported in the 6300 block of Monroe.
• A Steel chainsaw, tool box and fishing tackle box were stolen from the 3700 block of Lay.
• A disturbance was reported in the 4200 block of Taft.
• Two men, ages 19 and 24, were arrested for possession of marijuana in the 900 block of Main.
Thursday, July 29
• A 34-year-old female was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 5800 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A disturbance was reported in the 4200 block of Taft.
• Two tires were cut on a vehicle parked in the 5200 block of Van Buren.
• Someone broke the front windshield on a vehicle parked in the 5000 block of Griffing Court.
Friday, July 30
• A black 2000 Honda Civic was stolen from the 6300 block of Jackson.
• A 28-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3100 block of Allison.
Saturday, July 31
• An 18-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 6300 block of 25th Street.
• A 33-year-old male was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3100 block of Twin City Highway.
• Someone stole a 26” flat screen Sanyo TV from the 3100 block of Oak.
• A disturbance was reported in the 6900 block of Terrell.
• A report was made about a large brown Boxer dog being at large in the 3200 block of Cherry.
Sunday, Aug. 1
• A 40-year-old male was arrested on a city ordinance violation in the 6600 block of 25th Street.
Monday, Aug. 2
• A brick was thrown through a window on a business in the 4000 block of Lincoln Avenue and cigarettes were stolen.
• An LG 42” flat screen TV was stolen from the 3000 block of Oak.
Tuesday, Aug. 3
• Three gem stone rings and a Sony digital camera were stolen from the 5000 block of Cobblestone.
